But what about an Asian raised in Europe? Does the BMI cut-off for Asians still apply then? I've searched the net but have found no answer. Either way, which ever standard I use, my current BMI isn't ideal. Bummer!
But hey, while I was surfing the net, it became clear that we shouldn't base our health only on BMI calculations. Other parameters should be taken into account too, for instance: age, gender, waist measurement and health risks. The picture below is a good example. So my lesson today is not to let my BMI result get me down so easily.... there are more things to life and it is the condition of the soul that brings meaning.
